Sex/Death, Eisenstein, Etcetera [pdf]
written by Stan Brakhage

A syllabus for a film history class in spring 1975 at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Barbara Lattanzi posted it on the iDC list under the context of curating media as a form of montage, looking for updated examples. But I think it would be great to simply do this class again, all the same films, none succeeding 1975, with the same week-long-wait in between meetings. The lectures would be missing and pretty hard to recreate, but we could give it a shot - group speculation as to what Stan Brakhage would have talked about.
