I’d have to agree that it is in a way, but it does Zizek ever strike anyone here as falling prey to his intellectual pride in refusing to be pigeonholed? He does to me. This seems to be an example where that might be happening. I’ve always enjoyed him, but the article makes good points.
Not to be misunderstood there…Sorry, I was in a rush. Yes, the article makes good points in its apology for Zizek, but has there been a point in your readings in which you’ve thought to yourself ‘Zizek is playing games?’ I can take or leave the apology.
