An article (New York Times, 22 June 2008) about star architects who are accepting commissions from repressive governments. It’s woefully short, with only a few words from each architect (Eric Owen Moss says, “I’m a guy who has on my wall a picture of the guy in front of the tank. But I’ve never turned down a project in Russia and China.”) but it still stands out as a snapshot, particularly with the Olympics beginning.
