Explanation of the concept of collaborative learning. Bruffee focuses mainly on teaching English, but the concept is essentially ‘group work’ and it manifests itself in all disciplines in different ways. His argument draws mainly from Thomas Kuhn (who died only months after Gordon Pask) and Richard Rorty.
